The Renovation

Between 2014 and 2019, the Hôtel de Paris underwent its most comprehensive restoration since the nineteenth century. Architects and artisans worked room by room to uncover original mouldings, restore parquet floors, and integrate contemporary comfort without compromising historical integrity.

The project was directed by a team of heritage specialists who consulted archival photographs and period inventories. Where original fixtures could not be saved, they were replicated using traditional techniques — gilding, marquetry, and hand-woven textiles.

Suite Categories

Accommodation ranges from elegantly appointed standard rooms to multi-room suites named for historical figures associated with the hotel. The Prince Rainier III Suite and the Princess Grace Suite represent the pinnacle — expansive living spaces, private terraces, and bespoke furnishings.

Many suites offer dual aspect: one elevation facing Place du Casino, the other opening onto the Mediterranean. The contrast between the animated square and the calm sea defines the Monte-Carlo experience from within.

Terraces & Outlook

Upper-floor suites grant access to private or semi-private terraces — rare privileges in a dense urban resort. From these vantage points, the full geography of the Principality unfolds: the harbour, the old town of Monaco-Ville, and the coastal road winding toward Italy.
